Ross School will show off the artistic work of their seventh graders at the Ross Gallery, entitled ‘Narratives: Real and imagined: Eight East End Artists’.

The Students will be putting on a reception at the School’s gallery on the 2nd May. The students have carried out all of the organisation for the show and it is a tribute to those involved that the standard of work and display is set to be so high.

Ross School, founded by Courtney Sale Ross, has a tradition of great artistic displays which spans the last fourteen years. This year, the focus is on the art of the Maya, and the myths seen Hellenistic work, and the fables seen in Roman painting and other artwork. The students also produced six word narratives during their time of study in class.

It is testament to the forward thinking of Courtney Sale Ross that the school is producing things like this year in year out. It shows a great desire to further the education of the children beyond the normal level, and it also encourages a good deal of business like acumen on behalf of the pupils.

With educational institutes like this, the future of this country is in good hands.
