Increase search engine traffic and make money directly with web content

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

If you’ve gone far enough working on the world wide web, it’s impossible not to have realized that the articles published to increase search engine traffic can also bring you immediate and direct earnings. Here are three paradigms that can actually be profitable and contribute to your daily success in online lucrative activities.

Google Adsense

This is a Google advertising program that allows any web site owner to place ads or contextual sponsored links on their pages, and thus make profit following a pay-per click pattern. The ads are administered by Google and they are related in topic to the content of your web site, and they do match the effort to increase search engine traffic. Google sends into your account a previously established commission for every click performed by visitors. The ads depend on the content of the web page, and this is actually the beauty of the system.

Profitable niches serviced by well optimized web sites have the best rate of success. Adsense will hardly make you rich, but at least you can constantly add up to your revenue on a continuous basis. You need more than just one web page, with great SEO and quality content to really be efficient with Adsense. Such tactics do not serve to increase search engine traffic alone.

Generating leads

Web visitors whom you persuade to leave an email for further communication are subscribers or leads, and they enter your mailing list by an opt-in process. With the generation of leads, web developers aim at much more than just an increase of search engine traffic. Web surfers need to stay longer on your web page, and they will return later for more materials if they are satisfied. Quality is the only way to keep them coming: either if it’s quality of content or quality of product/service.

Affiliate programs

There is a close connection between affiliate programs, leads and the use of Adsense because the three systems support each other very well when combined. In the affiliate business model, every sale you make generates you a commission, previously established with the company that you work for. And every purchase sends money into your account. There are lots of things about affiliate marketing that you should know and it is by no means possible to go more in detail here.

You will depend on lots of affiliate schemes to increase search engine traffic in order to claim any success with these programs. The important thing is to be well informed and have some solid grasp of the system. Then, you’ll be able to set and achieve short and long-term goals much more efficiently.

Article Marketing Strategies

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

Around a year ago I wrote my first article and posted it to ezinearticles, which many people regard as the best article directory/website. Looking back I have to admit that I did not really know what I was doing, and in truth the article was not that impressive. I continued to write more articles and continued to make mistakes.

Ezinearticles are fairly unique in the fact that they human review each site before they publish them – this helps to keep their site as the best in the business. I am now spending a lot more time when I write the articles and feel that they have gradually improved, this has been confirmed by Wally himself I am pleased to report.

As for the benefits of writing articles and is it worth your time and effort? I have had e-mails from all around the world from people who have enjoyed reading my articles, maybe I am a bit sad but this gives me a little buzz. Some of these people have included the article in their blog or on their website, thus creating an additional backward link to my website/s. They have helped my external doors and cost reduction websites to rise up the rankings and has also helped to promote the stuttering therapy service that I offer. I managed to stop stammering a few years ago and as a career I now help other people to achieve fluency.

Each and very person that gets to read the article is a potential visitor to your website – this is traffic you would not have course received had you not written the article. That visitor could of course turn into a client or purchaser of your product/s.

For me search engines are going down the path of seeing one-way backward links as by far the most powerful form of link. One way links are not as easy to obtain, however writing articles has the potential of creating many one way backward links to you site and therefore is a must for any serious webmaster.

Bing, Article Marketing, and You

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Microsoft’s Bing can be likened to the Google search engine, although it is not being marketed as such.   The company has termed it a ‘decision engine’, and it has some exclusive features Google Search does not have.  For example, Bing’s user interface can provide the user with more accurate and pertinent data with less effort, which is something that Google sometimes fails to do.

If you wish to build further backlinks through article marketing, how do you achieve the best results using Bing’s engine?  First, let us briefly discuss the special aspects of the Bing ‘decision engine.’

The Bing engine does a better job in terms of presenting relevant results and detailed information to Internet users who employ it, in comparison to Google.   Some may argue that this only seems so because of the new user interface.  Bing typically displays the information that one can access with Google Search with more depth, even without going directly to the page the info is on.  Placing the mouse cursor over a search result causes the ‘expanded’ display of the information snippet.  If the information contains associated meta-data, moving the cursor over the primary information will display this as well.

The new search engine may cause some people to consider revamping their article marketing endeavors, yet the tried-and-tested rules still apply.  Creating well-crafted articles relevant to your niche, integrating the appropriate keywords, and submitting your articles to as many popular directories as possible (while creating the appropriate resource box or author biography) will still allow you to make headway over the competition.

The aforementioned ‘expanded’ view of information that Bing allows for search results simply means that an Internet user (and potential viewer or client) has easier access to the information contained in the articles you market to the directories.  Of course, as the search engine evolves, it remains to be seen if a website owner needs to tweak his or her article marketing efforts to a greater degree, for purposes of gaining more website traffic.  Ranking highly in the search results for your keywords and niche will still give you better results and better exposure for your website, even with Google’s rival engine.

There is no need to overhaul your article marketing strategies entirely, if you wish to cater to Internet users who utilize Bing.  Bing is one of the best innovations in search engine technology, and simply using an article writing service while new developments come along will serve you and your website well enough.

Essentials For Web Writing To Use

By web writing, you can improve your writing and learning abilities. While writing articles in web, you have to go through a lot of information, edit it and then post it. While doing this, without knowing yourself, you are gaining knowledge and information about the world. So to make your web writing very effective, just follow some of the guide lines given below.

First let us concentrate on the rules of web writing. Three basic rules of writing are brevity, information and user centricity. Brevity refers to the economical use of words to be used in speech or in an article. An article should be short and sweet.  This is especially true if the article is to be used for article marketing purposes. It should explain all the key points in a simple and understandable manner. It must cover information of five pages of print media in a single page in the web writing. This is the main advantage of web writing.

The reader is looking for some specific information in your page. The web writing should include sufficient and all the necessary information regarding the topic chosen. You may not be able to provide all the information needed in one single page, in that case you can use a new page for other details and just create a link to it, which the web user use to gather the details.

Web writing is mainly done for readers to get their desired information. So it is the duty of the web writer tells them what you are going to tell, then tell them the point, and finally tell them what you told them. In this way they will be surely satisfied with the result of your writing.

Some design factors to be considered while web writing. First be sure about the title of the page and the title of the article. The titles differ a bit, title of the page is used for the reference in the search engine and the article title is used to give an appealing look to the article.

After deciding the title, give a brief introduction to your article by summarizing the key points that is covered in the article. Usually you should limit yourself to three key points that should be explained in one paragraph.

Once the body of the article is created, necessary links to the related topics should be given. This encloses the wrap up paragraph. After the wrap up paragraph, a web writer should list out the references used for the article. All the above mentioned points will lead to a good web writing ability.
